Deeds for Dough
Radio-thon
Franklin-Grand Isle United Way's Annual Deeds for Dough
Radio-thon is scheduled for November 17, 2005.
This event will be broadcast
live for the ENTIRE day from 6 AM- 6PM (12 hours!) on AM 1420 WRSA.
The event will also be featured on our local Public Access Television
station channel 15/16. This event generates funds to support a network
of 24 local agencies that serve Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.
Please tune in and bid on some great gifts for Christmas! You can also
call in and make a pledge in return for someone in the community to do a
wacky deed! Use your imagination and we can help make this happen.
Perhaps you would like to send flowers to a family member and have a
song sung to them at work. The Deeds For Dough line will be open to your
great suggestions!If you have an item that you would like to donate (you will get some
great advertising!)
