Champlain Islanders Developing Essential Resources, INC. (CIDER)

Provides education and support services to Island families with children from birth to eight. This includes pre-school, playgroups, licensed child care, reach-Up services, Parents as Teachers, healthy Baby, and Welcoming Island Newborns home visits.

Champlain Valley Agency on Aging, Inc.
Provides information and support for people 60 and older to remain active, healthy, financially secure, and in control of their own lives. Programs include Case Management, Meals on Wheels, Senior Community Meals, Senior Help-line, Transportation, and Health Promotion.

CarePartners Adult Center
An adult day program, serves frail adults with memory loss or physical disability and their caregivers by providing therapeutic activities, health monitoring, supervision, and respite.

The YMCA develops youth and supports families through early childhood programs, after-school and summer school-age programs, and camping programs.

Green Mountain Council/Boy Scouts of America
United way funding supports training for volunteers in Franklin/Grand Isle Counties. Boy Scouts provides a comprehensive family program for boys ages 6 through 14 and young men and women ages 14 through 20. Scouting prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lifetimes by instilling them the values found in the South Oath and Law.
